Bike Fayetteville is joining with local restaurateur, Sam Pak for an evening of biking, refreshments, and Asian cuisine at the three family restaurants Pak manages near the Fayetteville trails. "Wok and Roll," a benefit for Bike Fayetteville and the Bicycle Coalition for the Ozarks, will bring riders to Ginger Rice & Noodle Bar on M.L.K., Wasabi on Dickson Street, and Shogun, by the Northwest Arkansas Mall.
The event will begin Sunday, July 26th at 5 pm at Ginger Rice & Noodle Bar 1163 M.L.K Jr. Blvd, and proceed to Wasabi and to Shogun. The 8.8 mile easy-paced ride will be almost entirely on paved trails. Food and soft drinks will be provided at all three stops, with happy hour prices on drinks from the bars. This three-course menu will include starters, sushi, and a hibachi-style main course with vegetarian options available. A suggested donation of $30 (Members) or $40 (Non-Members) will reserve your space, the event will be capped at 50 participants, so be sure to reserve in advance.
Sam's family founded their first Shogun restaurant in Fayetteville more than 20 years ago. Over the years, the Pak family's restaurants have employed hundreds of Fayetteville residents and fed countless thousands of guests. The Paks have always looked for ways to give back to the community -- regularly donating to veterans organizations and supporting local non-profits. Support for Members and local business owners like Sam are what make Bike Fayetteville events possible, we hope to see you there!
